This book does have very good recipes for all kinds of meat jerky types. One of the reasons I chose this particular book was that it listed fruit and vegetables in addition to meat jerky. I ended up looking for recipes online because this book does not include these items at all except as used in meat preparation. I will have to purchase a separate book elsewhere.
First off, the recipes in this book are phenomenal, we have yet to make a jerky that wasn't a smashing hit! The book features beef, chicken, pork and turkey recipes, along with fish, fruit and veggies for your dehydrating tastes! If you don't have a dehydrator there's even a section for alternative drying means and instructions. The book also features beautiful full color photos of about a third of the jerky recipes.A great cook book for you or a great gift for a family member!
We've only made 1 recipe so far, but have made it multiple times and it's great. Looking forward to trying more. I use with my Excalibur dehydrator(if you get one of those, get the one with the timer!)

Tried 5 beef recipes so far and they're all very tasty. Wish there was more variety (only a few fruit and veggie recipes) since they title is Jerky EVERYTHING.
Fun to make jerky and this gives some good advice and recipes which I change as I go but a good base.
gave as a gift with the dehydrator - they said that the recipes were easy and tasty and made some wonderful jerky!
