It's not a completely horrible book. There's lot of helpful information in it, but the author mentioned so many times how much he wants to help the reader and gave out his personal email twice and said that it'd help to get a quicker response if you said the you bought the book on Amazon and left a positive review, and he mentioned his app for entrepeneurs that he designed so many times, that it almost felt more like a sales call than a reference book. Honestly, it was just really off-putting to me and detracted a lot from the information I was trying to garner from it.Not to mention, I found several typos. Sorry, not to be a "grammar police" person or anything, but if you're going to try to sell me something on top of what I've already purchased from you, at the very least make sure you have someone else read it over for you before you publish it
This book is great for beginners and those needing a refresher. It covers the basic and provides a general outline with examples of writing a business book.After some technical issues, Alex and I finally spoke today. The call was suppose to be 15 minutes and ended up being 25 minutes. Alex is very nice. I do not doubt his ability to market and create a brand - his results for himself are very impressive. However, our conversation left me wanting for more substance. I wasn't able to walk away with any actionable information, without paying for a coaching session - something he did state he wasn't trying to push (something I noticed he stated several times in his book as well), but was the only way for me to get what I perceived as any value. This does make me believe it is a tactic to develop business, a very good one in fact for him.I do respect his book and openness to working with his readers. As he did say in our conversation, my needs require a little more conversation than a 15 minute conversation. I think, for any real business, they would need more than 15 minutes anyways to describe their situation. Hopefully others have a better experience and walked away with more substance than I did. It is because of this I reduced the rating from a 5 star to a 3 star. Alex going the extra mile to engage readers made me very excited, but the outcome was unfortunately disappointing. Hopefully this is a unique experience to myself and others have fared more fortunate.

I would recommend this book to all starting entrepreneurs interested in sound advice given in plain and simple form, concise explanations, and no complicated examples.
